Everything You Need to Know About Brow Lamination

Todayโs blog is little different. I wanted to speak to you about Brow Lamination, a really popular treatment at this time of year and one of my personal favourites.
From flat and fine to full and fluffy this brow trend is perfection. If youโre not happy with your brows in their natural state definitely give this treatment a go.
2020 saw a huge rise of a new brow trends and I welcomed the popularity of Brow Lamination!
This treatment is great for all types of eyebrow, it leaves a fluffy full brow, helping over plucked eyebrows to appear bigger. Thick and really course hair will benefit from the treatment as it creates soft workable hair, thin sparse brows become fuller.
Brow Lamination is the perfect micro blading alternative taking over feeds. I absolutely love this treatment, itโs a staple part of my beauty regime performed every eight weeks to get my brows looking their absolute best.
The treatment involves laminating the brows to change the position, then tinting and reshaping. So itโs a full brow treatment (not like your quick eyebrow wax)
Brow Lamination restructures the brow hair by opening up the cuticles and locking into a new given position. This leaves a more aesthetically pleasing shape, fuller and lifted. You can reshape the brow a little (i.e. raising the arch or lowering the tail). This non-invasive, non-permanent treatment is a great option for people that donโt want to commit to micro-blading but do want a chance to see what their brows might look like.
Of course I offer this treatment and Iโd love to hear from you if you would like to find out more or book your appointment in before Christmas.
Here are a few notes before you book:
You must have a patch test before this treatment to make sure youโre not allergic to any of the products, donโt try this treatment before a big occasion in case itโs not for you (so, get booked in with some time before Christmas and if youโre thinking about it for your Wedding โ leave lots of time!). Make sure you have it done well in advance to give the hair time to grow back to place in case you donโt like it.
You must avoid retinal alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) and other exfoliating skincare products for at least 48 hours before the appointment as it can cause a chemical reaction with the chemicals in the solution.
Lasts 6 to 8 weeks depending on your natural brow hair.
